today jonathan and i got to take jaxson to little gym for the first time. he absolutely loved it. it was so much fun being able to play on the mats with him and roll around. jaxson loved playing with the balls and the bells they had. and he thought he was so funny when he did his rolls. he was the only boy in the class of four children.

saturday i put jaxson on the floor with some toys and his pillow around him. well he got sick of the pillow around him, so he tried to roll out of it but it just followed him. it was so funny. later that night jonathan was feeding him dinner and jaxson decided he wanted to wear the carrots instead. it was so cute.

the past week

flaming gorge trip

eight months old

so the past eight months has went by so fast. i can't believe that jaxson is already 8 months old. sorry i didn't update earlier. jaxson now enjoys rolling over everywhere and playing with his toys. he can roll over to the stair and push himself up on the bottom stair. he is also starting to scoot himself. jaxson we love you.

yesterday we went shopping with the rices and there little jaxon wanted jaxson to sit by him in the cart. i just had to take pictures, because it was so cute.

forth of july in the canyons

so this year for the 4th we went up american fork canyon with the rice family and had a blast. we learned new card games. which are so much fun. we went 4-wheeling and ate great food. thanks so much for inviting us. then we came home and watched fireworks. we could see stadium of fire and thanksgiving points shows. it was so much fun. jaxson even held his own sparkler. well we hope everyone else had a great 4th as well.

swimming at camp williams

last tuesday we went with the rices to camp williams pool to swim. it was so much fun thanks guys for coming with us. while we were there we decided to try outthe life vest. jaxson really liked being able to lay down in the water. it was so cute he is growing so fast.

yesterday we watched alaynah while ashley had to go to work. it was so much fun. we played in the pool and played with toys. alaynah is almost walking so it was good to have her over so we can can see what we need to change when it is time for jaxson to start walking. thanks alaynah for coming and playing with us.

last saturday we went over to my dads for dinner and to play in there pool. we had such a good time. dinner was good. and jaxson liked playing in the water with paige and uncle cody. thanks for having us over

lehi parade

so after the hike we decided to go over to the lehi parade and watch all the floats. then we went and walked around and saw all the animals. jaxson loves to watch the animals and he liked touching the goats.

jaxsons first hike

so last saturday we got up early and headed for american fork canyon. we were going to go into the caves but it was an hour wait and with jaxson we decided to just hike up the trail and not go in the cave. it was a great hike. it was still shady and cool. on the way up jonathan carried jaxson and the way down i decided to carry him down. it was a nice work out. we decided we are going to try to go up again this summer and go inside the caves.
