today my friend ashley came over with her baby alaynah. we had a play date. alaynah is 4 months old. she is so much fun. she just enjoyed staring at jaxson and jaxson was just content with that. then he decided to take a nap in the middle of the visit. and alaynah didn't mind being able to play with everyone while he slept.

jaxson's nurse came today. he now weights 8 lbs 4 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long. way to go buddy. he also went from newborn diapers to size 1. yeah for us. now we can get them at costco. we love you jaxson,

i had to run to the store while jonathan was sleeoing so i told brandon he was to watch jaxson and if he had any major problems he could wake jonathan up. well when i got home this is what i found. babysitting is so hard isn't brandon. and jonathan was still sound a sleep.

tonight jaxson helped me cook in the kitchen. we made triple berry muffins for me and brandon. and brandon fell in love with them. he will be leaving them for santa next year. he says.

with our christmas money this year we decided to paint our entire house tan and get rid of the white walls. well actually we decided to have someone else paint it for us. it was so nice not to have to paint. and it was done in a day. which is so nice to have everything back to normal.

jaxson decided to get some boxing in tonight while laying on his gym. he just wanted to keep that mirror moving. he is so funny.

last night jaxson slept 7 hours straight. and then ate and went back to bed for another 3 hours.it was so nice to be able to sleep. he woke up so happy and active. we just hope for another night of good sleep for mom.

brandon's 19th birthday

on sunday it was brandon's 19th birthday . we made him waffles and sang to him them we got ready for church. he had his last meetings with the bishop and stake president for his mission. way to go. we now have 2 weeks and he willl have his call. then we made him his favorite dinner, which is hamburger helpers cheesy enchiladas and had turtle pie. it was a nice birthday we just relaxed. on saturday we took brandon out to olive garden and took him shopping. jaxson bought him a cool shirt that we wanted. hope you had an awesome birthday brandon .

jaxson and i thought we would just lay around tonight and relax. and he has started cooing so much more, so i thought i would tape him for everyone to see. hope you enjoy.

jaxson's 2 month doctor visit

today jaxson went to his 2 month doctor visit where he got 4 shots in the leg and 1 he drank. he was such a big boy. he didn't even cry. the nurse was very surprised. jaxson also got measured today, he weighted in at 7 lb 13 oz in the 3% for his age, his length is 20 3/4 inches in the 5%, and his head was 36.8 cm also in the 3%. but that is alright with us we are just happy he is on the charts and healthy.

yeah for jaxson he is two month s old today and he is a mover. he will not stay still for the live of me. his hands or legs have to be constantly moving. but we love him.

we decided to have family home evening at my moms house. i was in charge of the treat. i made a wonderful treat with angel food cake and berries. we played mexican train for the activity. it was surely fun to play with so many people. then before going to bed my mom want her picture with all of us on the couch. but we were all being to silly to get a good picture

we went shopping today. and the boys found some new sun glasses so they had to wear them everywhere we went. it was so funny. the even wear then in the van when it was dark outside. they said. "the traffic lights were bright." silly boys. we went to target and i wanted to walk around but knew johns foot was acting up so i went and got him a cart to ride around in. he thought i was so funny. we could hear him all over the store, becuase he kept making it beep really loud. it was fun.

best friends

my best friend from elementary school stephanie came up and visited me when i was at my mom we went out for dinner and had a blast remembering the old times. it was great to see her.
